Ratna, aged 4 months, presents because of noisy, wheezy breathing that 
developed overnight. This problem was associated with poor disinterested 
feeding and a possible fever. She had developed rhinorrhoea and a cough 
three days previously.

Past History:
Ratna is the first child of the family and has developed normally since birth 
and continued to breast feed. She has had a dry cough for the past four 
weeks. There is no family history of asthma.
