1984, Dr Abeer graduated from Kuwait University
Medical School with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. |

In 1999, he recieved a Diploma
in Family Medicine / Kuwait / RCGP. |
|
In 1992, Dr
Abeer was recognized as a trainer in Family
Medicine. |
|
In 1996, he was recognized
as an Examiner in Family Medicine.. |
|
In 1994, he became a member
of the Faculty of Primary Health Care / Kuwait Institute
for Medical Specialization. |
|
In 2001, he was appointed
as Director of Family Medicine Training Program / Kuwait. |
Interests

Dr
Abeer has a special Interest in Geriatrics/
Audits and Evidence Based Medicine / Research and Medical
Records including computerization. |

He has a special interest
in Continuing Medical Education for Primary Care and
Family Physicians. |
|
He has been a tutor for the
One Day Study Release Course in Kuwait Family Medicine
Program in its early beginnings. |

He laid the foundations of
Geriatric Care for the Family Medicine Program of Kuwait
in 1994. |

He has been the responsible
for the scientific committee in Primary Care. |
