The MEJFM will run a CME series
on Emergency Presentations on Child Health,
over the next ten issues. These have been written
by Medical Educator, and best-selling General
Practice author, Professor John Murtagh, Monash
University, Australia. Topics will include: Bronchiolitis,
Gastroenteritis, Henoch Schonlein purpura, Laryngo-tracheal
bronchitis (croup), Acute anaphylaxis, Febrile
convulsions, Asthma, Ingestion of unknown toxic
substance, Gastro-oesophageal reflux. This issue's
