Family physicians and patients’ compliance

Abstract

Family physicians play a vital role in the care of a wide range of patients. They are often the first point of contact for those with medical needs. One major challenge faced world-wide is patient compliance with therapies. There are numerous factors affecting patient compliance
and family physicians need to be aware of these whilst maintaining patient autonomy.
